Steria was the first company to develop a tri-service inventory management system in support of this objective. Management of the Joint Deployed Inventory (MJDI) for the UK MOD replaces the three services’ current separate stores management systems with a single inventory management IS capability. It uses common operating procedures across all three services to significantly improve supply chain management capability, asset visibility and accounting accuracy. It will provide the UK MOD with a significantly enhanced capability to optimise its operational logistics footprint through improved visibity to operational commanders. It will contribute to increased effectiveness and efficiency throughout the end-to-end joint support chain.
We are also helping the French MOD to optimise the maintainance and occupancy of its facilities and its consumption of energy and other utilities across its estate in line with the French Government's national strategy for sustainability and modernised estate management.
