After the selection process, the winning team will receive a scholarship of up to €10,000.

ERDF selects Steria to support implementation of 35 million new-generation smart meters.
In 2008, ERDF chose Steria to develop a system to manage the deployment of its Linky smart meters. The Linky meters will be tested in 2010 ahead of a planned roll out of 35 million electric meters in France from 2012 to 2016.
Working together, Steria and ERDF teams have successfully completed phase one and launched production of the first version of the application. It will allow the scheduling of meter installations, the planning and monitoring of preparatory works, and the coordination of the progressive rollout of the Linky meters. Preparations are now complete for ERDF to launch the test phase, which will be ongoing until October 2010 and will enable the installation of approximately 5,000 hubs and the replacement of 300,000 meters in Indre-et-Loire and in the Lyon area starting in March 2010.

The Belgian Federal Police choose Steria and Cogent Systems to provide an innovative fingerprint capture system For its 100th anniversary, the Belgian Police Department's Legal Identification Division is getting an innovative fingerprint capture system. Steria Benelux has been chosen to equip the Technical and Scientific Police Department's Legal Identification Division with a revolutionary fingerprint-capture system. Steria is acting as "prime contractor" for this project. The system will be based on Cogent Systems' new "Automated Palm Print and Fingerprint Identification System" (APFIS). Steria will enable remote connection by installing the FIT (Fingerprint Image Transmission) peripherals required for the capture and transmission of finger and palm prints and traces, and will also be in charge of all necessary integration services.
New agreement for Steria with Statens Pensjonskasse, the Norwegian Public Service Pension Fund The IT services company Steria has won an application management contract with the Norwegian Public Service Pension Fund. The agreement is worth approximately 5.5 million Euros (50 million Norwegian Kroner).
