Steria today announced it has been selected by Cleveland Police Authority as its partner for delivery of the Force's control room, community justice and back-office functions through a shared service partnership that will deliver €60 million (£50 million) in cashable savings. Steria won the contract, worth €211 million (£175 million) over 10 years, in a competitive bid against the market leaders. 

ERDF network technicians to gain mobility thanks to Steria, through optimised management of their work and emergency repairs ERDF has entrusted Steria with its Tamaris project to gradually equip its 6,000 network technicians with mobility tools. Thanks to an industrial solution and its agile approach, Steria has been able to complete the first phase of the project within six months.

ESIEA’s “Praticarte” Project – Winner of the ‘Steria Foundation-Institut de France’ Grant The ‘Steria Foundation - Institut de France' jury met on 7th May to reveal the winners of the 2010 grant. It chose to back the "Praticarte" project devised by a team of students from the ATIS department of ESIEA, one of France's top computer/software engineering universities. The idea is to offer a new instrument to measure how practicable streets are, and feed a geographical database for people with reduced mobility in order to enable them, like people without reduced mobility, to define the best-adapted route between two points, taking into account the specific restrictions of their disability. This project also has a community aspect as the database will be constantly updated by users via an embedded terminal. 

BNP Paribas entrusts Steria with its 2,200-branch retail banking network BNP Paribas has selected Steria to operate the Help Desk for its France retail banking network. Steria will provide an industrial, flexible solution specially tailored to BNP Paribas' requirements. These services will be provided from Steria's platform in Roanne, which is taking on 56 new employees to fulfil one of France's largest help desk contracts.
