After the selection process, the winning team will receive a scholarship of up to €10,000.

Bonduelle renews its trust in Steria to transform its IT infrastructures, by extending its contract with the IT services company for another five years The Bonduelle group has renewed the contract to manage the bulk of its computer infrastructures, the transformation of which was entrusted to Steria in 2004. The European IT services company will therefore continue to manage the central computer system and decentralized servers, as well as the global Help Desk, office IT and support functions for the group.

Steria wins major application management contract with the Norwegian National Rail Administration The Norwegian National Rail Administration (Jernbaneverket) has signed an application management services contract with Steria, worth an estimated14 million Euros (NOK 120 million).

Steria has won the managed services contract for the entire mobile information system of SFR: a flagship contract worth almost € 100 million In 2008, SFR started a major transformation project on its mobile IT system. Following on from this project, SFR has chosen to outsource to Steria its entire mobile IT system, with the aim of improving its operational performance and at the same time optimising costs.

NHS Shared Business Services signs 9 new NHS organisations NHS Shared Business Services (SBS), a unique joint venture between the Department of Health and Steria, today announced 9 new contract wins with NHS organisations. The new business, which will provide finance and payroll business process outsourcing (BPO) services, has a combined value of more than €9.26 million (£8.2 million) and will extend services to approximately 15,000 NHS employees. 

ERDF selects Steria to support implementation of 35 million new-generation smart meters. In 2008, ERDF chose Steria to develop a system to manage the deployment of its Linky smart meters. The Linky meters will be tested in 2010 ahead of a planned roll out of 35 million electric meters in France from 2012 to 2016.

Working together, Steria and ERDF teams have successfully completed phase one and launched production of the first version of the application. It will allow the scheduling of meter installations, the planning and monitoring of preparatory works, and the coordination of the progressive rollout of the Linky meters. Preparations are now complete for ERDF to launch the test phase, which will be ongoing until October 2010 and will enable the installation of approximately 5,000 hubs and the replacement of 300,000 meters in Indre-et-Loire and in the Lyon area starting in March 2010.

SAMSIC Iberia choose Steria to implement new ERP infrastructure to improve business efficiency Samsic Iberia, a company specialised in cleaning services, has signed a five-year outsourcing contract with Steria Spain to set up the ERP Oracle E-Business Suite and the payroll and human resources management tool PeopleSoft.

The Belgian Federal Police choose Steria and Cogent Systems to provide an innovative fingerprint capture system For its 100th anniversary, the Belgian Police Department's Legal Identification Division is getting an innovative fingerprint capture system. Steria Benelux has been chosen to equip the Technical and Scientific Police Department's Legal Identification Division with a revolutionary fingerprint-capture system. Steria is acting as "prime contractor" for this project. The system will be based on Cogent Systems' new "Automated Palm Print and Fingerprint Identification System" (APFIS). Steria will enable remote connection by installing the FIT (Fingerprint Image Transmission) peripherals required for the capture and transmission of finger and palm prints and traces, and will also be in charge of all necessary integration services.

New agreement for Steria with Statens Pensjonskasse, the Norwegian Public Service Pension Fund The IT services company Steria has won an application management contract with the Norwegian Public Service Pension Fund. The agreement is worth approximately 5.5 million Euros (50 million Norwegian Kroner).
